Ageing, Gender and Leadership: A Study Based on Tolkien’s The Lord of the Rings
2017
Based on current research on ageing in organizations, this chapter focuses on ageing, its gendered nature, and its relations to what is valued in organizational settings in terms of careers and leadership. Quality of Life and Sexuality among People with Mental and Physical Disabilities in the Italian Context
2016
Aim: The article analyses sexuality and quality of life among people with mental and physical disabilities in the Italian context. 2015
Retracing the primary common aspects between anthropological and psychoanalytic thought, in this article, we will further discuss the main common points between the notions of the unconscious according to Carl Gustav Jung and Claude Levi-Strauss, taking into account the thought of Erich Neumann. On the basis of very simple elementary logic considerations centered around the basic notion of the separation of opposites, our observations might be useful for speculations on the possible origins of rational thought and hence on the origins of consciousness.
Inconscio collettivo, norma fondamentale e confine sociologico
2019
The essay deals with the theme of the collective unconscious, which explains the premise on the irrationality of action. This theme also allows us to investigate the question of the objectivity register of sociological science and its autonomy from psychology by approaching different cases to the already consolidated and perhaps even obsolete theme.
